Recently, the monograph "Materials and Interfaces for Clean Energy," co-authored by Professor Qiu Yongfu of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at DGUT and Professor Yang Shihe of the Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University, was published by Science Press. The book primarily presents the latest advances in the theory and application of nanomaterials and interfaces for clean energy, and elucidates the connections between the structures of nanomaterials and interfaces and their energy applications. Consisting of seven chapters, the book focuses on the latest developments in materials and interfaces applied in the clean energy field, including new material synthesis, material interface engineering, carbon quantum dot luminescent materials, lithium-ion batteries, perovskite solar cells, and electrocatalytic water splitting. This book can serve as a textbook for senior undergraduate and graduate students in chemistry, materials, energy, and environmental science programs, as well as a reference for faculty members, researchers, and professionals in related industries.

This achievement represents another high-level accomplishment following the publication of a high-impact paper in Nature Communications by Distinguished Researcher Chen Muqing, a member of Professor Qiu Yongfu's team. Over the past three years, Professor Qiu Yongfu's team, with DGUT as the first affiliated institution, has published a series of high-level SCI papers in the field of new materials (including Nature Communications, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Chemical Science, Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers, Chinese Journal of Chemistry, and Nanomaterials, among others), and has been awarded two general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one Guangdong-Dongguan Joint Fund Cultivation Project.

Science Press was established in August 1954 through the merger of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Compilation and Translation Bureau and the Longmen United Book Company, which was founded in 1930. Over the past six decades and more, under the auspices of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Science Press has upheld its long-standing traditions of "high standards, high caliber, and high quality" as well as "rigor, strictness, and stringency." Committed to serving scientific and technological innovation, science communication, and the needs of authors and readers, the press orients itself toward the frontiers of global science and technology, the major demands of national development, the main arena of the national economy, and the health and well-being of the people. It fully explores outstanding publishing resources both domestically and internationally and places great emphasis on the development of major publishing projects, forming a business structure with science (S), technology (T), medicine (M), education (E), and humanities and social sciences (H) as its main publishing domains. Currently, Science Press publishes over 3,000 new titles and more than 500 journals annually, making it a leading comprehensive scientific and technological publishing institution in China.
